Tamiya showcasing a lot of their new releases at this year’s Nuremberg Toy Fair 2020, one of the most exciting ones has got to be the Volvo FH16 Globetrotter 750 8×4 Tow Truck. A modified version of their recently released Volvo FH16 Globetrotter 750 6X4 Timber Truck #56360, this version seems to be a vehicle rescue version rather than goods transporting.
In a 8×4 configuration, the Volvo FH16 Globetrotter 750 8×4 Tow Truck (#56362) looks to come with a full hard plastic body with chrome finished accessories such as rims and door handles.
It should come as no surprise that to make the Lift Tow move through the controls of your transmitter you will need to buy an option part. But using the Tamiya will be a hassle-free install comparing to diy-ing something yourself.
Here’s how articulate the rear-end of the tow truck is, and you can see just how complicated and life-life the lift tow is.
Another re-release from Tamiya, first seen on a TA-03R chassis. Tamiya will be re-releasing the Mercedes-Benz GLK-GTR on the TT-01 Type-E Chassis!
Tamiya’s iconic Avante body shrinked into a cute size for release on the GF01 Chassis, long time Tamiya fans will recognize this body instantly!
Seen previously, but shown here again in Nuremberg; a more realistic approach for Tamiya’s G6-01 Chassis with a Volvo A60H heavy duty Hauler body ontop. The front cab looks to be of Lexan material with a hard plastic rear end.
This vintage Volkswagen will be more for collectors than racers, the Karmann Ghia a sportscar released in the 60’s!
More re-releases! This time it’s a road legal version of the Porsche 911 GT1, which was also released with racing livery back in the day.
The newest Swift from Suzuki, comes with the same factory rims you would get if you were to get the real car.
The racing truck scene is getting popular over in Europe, and Tamiya have seized this opportunity and have introduced a new racing truck body in conjunction with the Tankpool24 team.
Last but not least, Tamiya are set to release their second body for the their SW-01 Chassis. Although it seems to be a brand new kit with colors of the chassis mixed up for this release. With new rims and tires which are aimed for mud running!
