We’re back from the Xpress Cup 2018 hosted by the lovely SRC Raceway located next to world class sports facilities. We were lucky enough to win both Modified and Stock classes, here are some reports from our Team Drivers who drove their Execute XQ1:

Keith Chui (Stock Top Qualifier, Winner):

“First time racing 13.5 blinky with roar-spec motors, the speed was faster than I thought it would be. This class rewards consistent driving lines and keeping your corner speed up. I was lucky enough to TQ and Win the class, my XQ1 was very easy to setup and make smooth.

Xpress 杯賽後報告:充分準備+好運齊來

星期五跟大隊出發上大陸深圳SRC車場準備星期日Xpress杯比賽,事前準備功夫不少,先特別鳴謝係PYC幫我一路跟進小弟太狂野駕駛手法的阿Nick同阿Mark!另外一路都支持我黎比賽的蔡Sir!

講番先,比賽之前一個星期開始測試 ORCA RT5.0 摩打以配合我太狂野的油門,由Drivefeel (好似Hobbywing的softening value)同Drag Brake不斷係PYC測試,都攞到一個自己覺得不錯的電變Setup.

上到深圳SRC車場,第一排電感覺超Low Traction,另外都感覺小小Over Power,但好快ORCA老闆Frankie指導下我去改變Endbell同改Brake黎配合我,效果十分之正!

今次上到SRC冇諗住爆到咩Bestlap,反觀不斷做5mins測試去睇架車會唔會drop勁多,去攞一個最平均的Laptime跑下

車架方面都冇咩大改動,只係測試過Xray同Axon彈弓,油壓油同殼
Axon彈弓都幾正,我有兩個配搭
頭2.75尾2.8用係Low Traction (我初賽設定)
頭尾2.7 係Medium Traction Setup

油壓油就
頭400尾450 (我初賽設定)
頭尾450 (決賽設定)

車殼方面我就有d迷迷地,星期六試輕殼感覺會快d,灣心會好d
但星期日我係A1 Final試輕殼黎想架車爽灣小小,相反架車浮左,最尾都係用番重殼黎跑決賽

賽後檢討:車架設定上比較殺呔,小弟套呔行左三排電而經drop哂,而阿Hay同秋文都Keep到套呔去到最尾,依個係需要檢討的主要問題,希望俾d意見我去再測試一下”
